Altitude is a Westpac Rewards Program (one of Australia’s most reputable banks). Details of the Program
On the Altitude Rewards program, you earn points whenever goods or services are purchased using your card or your card account. You may then convert the points to rewards that Altitude may offer from time to time and for which you qualify. Be realistic about how many points you need to earn to get that flight or product you’re after and make sure the cards earning you Altitude Rewards are worth your while. Realise also that the deals, rewards and offers available vary over time and are subject to availability.
Earning Points
Unlike other rewards programs, with Altitude your points will not be capped, meaning there’s no limit to the Altitude points you can earn and there is no points expiry (while you are an Altitude cardholder) which gives you all the time you need to redeem. As stated you can earn points whenever you purchase goods and services using your card or card account.
The earn rates for points are good. They vary from 1 to 3 points earned per dollar depending on whether you’re a Visa, MasterCard or AMEX card holder and if you’re in the Classic, Gold, Platinum, ABLE or ABLE Gold categories. Extra points can also be earned when shopping with Altitude’s Bonus or Bonus Plus Partners.
Redeeming Points
Points can be redeemed in a variety of ways. Flights and holiday deals are available at approximately 200 hotels, 100 travel destinations and 10 airlines. For flights you just jump on the Altitude website and search for the flights you want and it will tell you how many points you need. You’ll usually need to pay the taxes on the flights and not be able to use your points on that aspect of the flights. Within Australia you have a variety of airline options. For international flights you’re limited to Virgin Blue unless there is a special offer which may also include accommodation etc. available.

Eligibility
Entry is open to residents of Australia enrolled in the Westpac Altitude Rewards program over the age of 18 years who hold a Westpac Altitude card and who submit a valid entry.
