Amplify Rewards
The St. George Bank offers you a competitive rewards program known as ‘Amplify.’ Amplify credit cardholders with Amplify Rewards credit cards earn Amplify points for spend on purchases. Amplify points can be redeemed for a wide range of products and services such as travel services including flights and accommodation and quality merchandise including home wares, electrical goods and wine.
Details of the Program
With the Amplify Rewards program, you earn points whenever goods or services are purchased using your card. These points give you access to offers and rewards for which you qualify. As with any rewards program, make sure you’re realistic about how many points you need to earn to get that flight or product you’re after and make sure the credit cards earning you Amplify Rewards are worth your while. Realise also that the deals, rewards and offers available vary over time and are subject to availability.
Earning Points
With Amplify Rewards, there's no limit to the number of points you can earn meaning you don’t have to worry about them expiring as long as your card is linked to Amplify Rewards. You’ll earn 1 Amplify point per $1 spent on purchases which is an excellent rate.
Amplify Rewards has joined forces with some of Australia's leading businesses to help you earn Amplify points when you use your card with participating bonus partners. You can check out who the bonus partners are on the Amplify website. When you shop with these bonus partners you can earn up to 3 bonus points per dollar spent simply by using your card linked to Amplify Rewards for your purchases.
Redeeming Points
There is a fair bit of flexibility in how you can redeem your Amplify Points. Air points or miles can be redeemed with Virgin Blue and V Australia's Velocity program, Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer program and Malaysia Airlines program.
For your convenience, you can also redeem points 24 hours a day 7 days through a dedicated St. George Amplify Rewards website or by calling the Amplify Service line on the number on the back of your card.
Whether it is Flights, Homewares, Electronics or Technology you are after, you can use your Amplify points to redeem it all with Amplify Rewards.
Just remember that you have to be a member of the relevant airline points or miles program to redeem Amplify points for airline points. Also realise you have to have earned at least 3,000 Amplify points before you can redeem them for airline points.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the Amplify Rewards Program you need to be an Australian resident and over 18 years of age. You also need to be a St. George Visa credit card holder and if you want to redeem points on flights you need to be a member of the relevant Airline points or Miles program that you want to use your points on.
