FlyBuys Loyalty Program
FlyBuys is not a frequent flyer program owned by any specific airline. Instead, customers wishing to travel can earn points with FlyBuys by purchasing travel experiences with JetSet, the popular travel agents. JetSet has been providing customers with fantastic travel experiences, from long sunny holidays to short, chic mini-breaks for forty years, and can take care of all customers’ travel needs. Alternatively, FlyBuys members can earn points by choosing to book holidays with TravelWorld, another excellent travel agent. TravelWorld can take care of all the details of a trip, from the itinerary to the flights to car hire and day trips, taking the hassle out of booking the perfect holiday or business trip.
Buying Flights Using Flybuys
As mentioned above, FlyBuys is not affiliated with a particular airline. Instead, its two travel partners, JetSet and TravelWorld, can take care of all of the details of a holiday or business trip, including the flights. Both JetSet and TravelWorld have access to great deals with the world’s top airlines, so wherever members need to go, these two travel agents can find the best deals to the perfect destinations.
Entitlement
Membership of FlyBuys does not provide members with any specific entitlements whilst traveling, such as priority check-in or booking services, as frequent flyer programs often do. Instead, membership of FlyBuys entitles customers to have access to exclusive deals with retailers only available to FlyBuys members. Members can access fantastic special offers on homeware, audio/visual equipment, entertainment and books, children’s toys, dining, wine and travel products.
Earning FlyBuys
Members of FlyBuys earn two points for every $5 spent shopping with one of its many partners. It is surprisingly easy to build up points, as these partners are not limited to retailers selling luxury goods that members only buy occasionally. Instead, members can accrue points on the things they buy all the time. Partners include Coles Supermarkets, BI-LO, Target, Kmart, Baby Target, Kmart Tyre & Auto, Liquorland, Liquorland Direct, Jetset and Travelworld travel centres.
There are some variations in the ratio of points-to-dollars-spent. At Coles Express, you will earn 1 standard point for every $5 spent. At Budget Car Rental earn 2 standard point for each $1 spent and at Best Western Australia you will earn 1 standard point for each $1 spent.
Members can also build up points by using certain NAB credit cards for their shopping. Selected NAB credit cards can be linked to FlyBuys membership accounts, so for every $5 spent on the card, with any retailer at all, members earn two points. Additionally, this gives members the chance to boost their points. If they use their NAB credit cards to purchase products from FlyBuys retailers, the rate of points-to-dollars-spent climbs even higher.
