Jetstar is the low-cost airline subsidiary of Australian airline Qantas. Jetstar provides budget domestic flights in Australia. As Jetstar is a subsidiary of Qantas, customers flying with Jetstar can accrue Qantas Frequent Flyer points. So, they may be entitled to all of the benefits of Qantas Frequent Flyer membership. These include: Qantas Club business counters, priority waitlisting and airport stand-by, extra luggage allowance, advance seat selection, priority telephone reservation service. The top tiers of Qantas membership provide more bonuses, such as additional baggage allowance and priority baggage handling.

Earn Jetstar Points (Dollars)
Customers on Jetstar flights can accrue Qantas points on selected fares. These are JetFlex or StarClass, so this is really only the best option if customers normally use these more expensive Jetstar fares. By spending money on Jetstar frequent flyer credit cards you can earn points. Customers can also redeem Qantas frequent flyer points with Jetstar flights. Customers can also earn Qantas frequent flyer points by purchasing with their Jetstar Dollars credit cards with a variety of participating vendors, including hotels, grocery and liquor stores, car manufacturers, travel service providers, restaurants, and finance, business and real estate service providers. So, even if customers choose to use a budget airline, there are several other ways in which to accrue points on reaching their destination, or just in every day life at home.
Eligibility
Membership of Qantas Frequent Flyer, through Jetstar, is subject to the same terms and conditions it normally is. This means that membership is only open to individuals, and not to families, groups, companies, trusts, partnerships, government departments, agencies or animals. There is also a joining fee and, depending on membership status, annual fees may apply.
