When a Jetstar Platinum MasterCard customer earns $200 worth of points, Jetstar will email them a voucher for $200. The cardholder does not have to contact Jetstar to request a pay out, but if they would like an early payout, then they may call for smaller amounts. It should be noted that vouchers are issued in $25 increments.
What Can Vouchers Be Used For?
The point vouchers can be used for discounts on air travel. Jetstar points may be used to pay the travel cost in its entirety, or they may be used to pay a portion of it. Another form of payment is needed if the customer does not have enough Jetstar points to cover the entire cost of a flight.
Expiration
Jetstar vouchers expire after three months, so any travel must be booked within three months of receipt of the voucher. Also, the customer must travel within six months or lose the points.
